Days 17, 18 & 19

Uh - oops!! Things have been a little busy and a lot crazy. I've been later to bed than usual and posting has just been off my radar. I've been on plan, so I'm just going to give stats for today but basically they can apply to the last three.

Today's stats cubed:

Breakfast: two bananas

Mid-morning snack: celery and hummus (ah yes, the hummus is back!)

Lunch: mixed greens, red onion, walnuts, dried cranberries, crumbled bleu cheese and raspberry viniagrette... ok so this was a little off plan with the cheese and the viniagrette. Today was the only day I did this. The other days were my "usual" salad with the avocados and lime juice.

Ok, so lunch was late and it's past dinner time and I'm just not hungry. My calories are low today. Oh well.

Oh, and I saw Sex and the City 2 last night (it was AWESOME! So much fun! If you loved the series and the first movie, the second one is right up there!) and I brought a bag of dried apricots. They were packaged, I didn't make them myself, so there were some preservatives in there. But still a helluva lot better than anything the sell at the concession stand!

According to The Daily Plate, my nutritional stats are:

Calories: 915
Carbs: 56.25%
Fat: 33.75%
Protein: 10%

Yeah, the fat's a little high. Between the hummus, walnuts, cheese and viniagrette, it was gonna be. Funny thing is those are all the things the brought up the protein too! So, whatever!

Exercise stats:

Elliptical: 45 minutes a.m.
Calories burned: 457
Sunshine therapy: I wasn't able to get away from the office today. But tomorrow - for SURE!!

Ok, so today's big news: I BOUGHT A FREAKIN' SWIM SUIT!! This is a monumental day. I plan on wearing it WITHOUT a giant t-shirt over it. I know, right! CRAZY!!

I have to work all weekend, but Monday the store is CLOSED! And if the weather holds up as I so hope it does, the kids and I will be spending it at my parents' pool!

I just had the craziest conversation with my teenagers. Kids are nuts! I love 'em!!

Are you still doing your green drinks? I am obsessed with the *idea* of green smoothies. Not ready for the reality yet. I need a new blender. The root of most of my problems begins with "But first I need......."
