Ok, confession time. I started a new medication on Friday and it's wiped out my appetite. So, due to a series of events yesterday, I didn't eat. At all. I wasn't hungry in the least and the idea of food was just BLEH. I didn't workout either. My energy is a bit low and I wasn't feelin' it. However, I realized that it's not cool to not eat. So I made sure I did today. Other than an abuse of cashews (damn, they're tasty and addictive!) everything was back on schedule. I didn't have a green smoothie cause I didn't have the right fruits at home, so I just ate a bowl of fruit for breakfast once I got to work. Tomorrow will be odd because I have to take my oldest to the airport at lunchtime and since it's in SF, we have to leave at like 10:30 and I won't be back until probably around 2. So it'll be a way late lunch. But I'll make sure I get it in. I promise!!
And, without further adieu, here are today's stats:
Breakfast: blackberries and cherries
Mid-morning snack: handful of cashews (no, they weren't raw.)
Lunch: salad of mixed greens, spinach, avocado, lime juice, red onions and white corn cut off the cob. Needed tomatoes, but I was out. I'll pick some up for tomorrow's salad.
Mid-afternoon snack: more cashews. Man, that is a big can! I'll be glad when it's gone so I won't be tempted to steal them anymore. Cause you know, they're not even mine! LOL!!
According to The Daily Plate, my nutritional stats are:
Calories: 986
Carbs: 48.19%
Fat: 42.54%
Protein: 9.72%
Yeah, yeah, yeah - the fat is insane! OK, fine. I'm officially swearing off the cashews once and for all.
Exercise stats:
Elliptical: 45 minutes p.m.
Sunshine therapy: ran errands for an hour or so today, that was my "out in the sunshine" time
Calories burned: 520
Tomorrow I'm committed to both a.m & p.m. workouts. Sunshine Therapy will have to be in the form of driving across the Golden Gate Bridge with the sun roof open! And tomorrow morning will start with a green smoothie. I still have a couple of mangoes to use before they go bad. And a bunch of dandelion greens waiting for a try. Mmm...! And tomorrow is weigh-in day. Think light thoughts!!
