Day 15

Starting weight: 168.4
Last week's weight: 163.6
Today's weight: 159.6
Loss total: 8.8 lbs (in two weeks - that is AWESOME!!)

Well, I am convinced! The weight continues to come off. I very much enjoy what and how I eat. The raw vegan lifestyle is just a perfect fit for me. And my body is obviously loving it too. The best part - no cravings for chocolate, chips, ice cream or Diet Coke. None whatsoever. I've been able to resist my beloved Junior Mints with little effort. That doesn't mean that I'll never have them again. But not for a while, not until this has become a full-fledged lifestyle. And probably not til I'm just about at goal weight (115 for those wondering.) Now before anyone goes all 115, that's crazy! Keep in mind that I am a very tiny person. I just barely clear 5'2". And I have that tiny, petite, bird-like bone-structure. I weighed in the 105-110 range all thru high school and no one ever accused me of being too thin or under-weight. Not once. 115 is right in the middle of my "healthy weight range" and so it's a good number to aim for.

Today's food plan was a bit off due to what ended up being a 4+ hour round trip to the airport, right smack in the middle of the day. I ended up eating lunch at dinner time. And the grape tomatoes I bought for my salad ended up being eaten discreetly at the front desk as a late snack. And yes, there were cashews! But not as many. And the good news is that damn can is almost empty!

Today's stats:

Breakfast: cantaloupe & blackberries

Mid-morning snack: banana

Lunch: two more bananas

Mid-afternoon snack: grape tomatoes

Dinner: salad of lettuce, spinach, red onions, white corn, avocado & lime juice.

According to The Daily Plate, my nutritional stats are:

Calories: 1011
Carbs: 71.92%
Fat: 19.18%
Protein: 8.9%

Fat percentage is still twice what it should be but less than half of yesterday's so I'll take it! Damn those tasty cashews!!

Exercise stats:

Elliptical: 45 minutes a.m. & p.m.
Sunshine therapy: not enough sun to even warrant an open sunroof on my drive into SF!
Squats: 25
Lunges: 20
Crunches: 25

All in all, an awesome Monday! I feel good, strong, and lean... well, leaner anyway. Definitely heading in the right direction. And in less than 10 lbs, I can start running again! Woo Hoo!!

4 hours to and from SFO. That had to suck! Great job. Think about how far you've come since returning from Cabo!!!!
